Materials that age well
Why we choose stone, lime and untreated wood: a note on time as a design material.
A fine project is not the one that looks perfect on handover day, but the one that after ten years tells a better story about the house and the people in it.
We work with a restricted palette of natural materials, chosen for how they respond to use: lime that absorbs light, walnut that darkens, brass that dulls.
Maintenance is part of the design: we always deliver a simple, concrete materials care manual.
